CCV A35 payment terminal connected to the Solaryx register

The short answer

The CCV A35 is rented at € 35 a month per terminal with your Solaryx subscription. Nothing to buy, no setup fee, a six month minimum per terminal, and a replacement if it fails. Rented straight from CCV, the same terminal comes as the Duo Base A80-A35 pack at € 42.85 a month plus € 171.50 to start, on a twelve month contract.

The six months run from installation day. Stop earlier and the months left are invoiced once. Nothing is due if we end it, or if we cannot supply a working terminal.

Card transaction fees are separate: billed by CCV on its own scale, from € 0.075 to € 0.24 per transaction, and we take no share of them.

List prices published by each vendor, excluding VAT, checked in August 2026. Ranges are the vendor's own and depend on the model, the contract and your volume. Several vendors run temporary offers, CCV among them.

One real month at the counter

A monthly rental means nothing on its own. This is a salon taking € 10,000 in card payments over 400 transactions, which is an average ticket of € 25. The terminal is the small number, the card fees are the big one.

Offer Terminal Card fees Total for the month
Solaryx, CCV A35 driven by the till € 35 € 46.40 € 81.40
CCV Duo Base A80-A35, rented direct € 42.85 € 46.40 € 89.25
SEPAY, counter terminal € 79 € 56 € 135
Viva Wallet € 9 € 150 € 159
SumUp € 0 € 175 € 175
Zettle by PayPal € 0 € 175 € 175
myPOS € 0 € 189 € 189
Worldline Xengo € 15 € 155 to € 299 € 170 to € 314
Worldline Yoximo € 30 to € 56 € 126 to € 265 € 156 to € 321

Excluding VAT. Per-transaction offers are counted on their published scale at 400 transactions, percentage offers on the published percentage applied to € 10,000.

One caveat, and it matters: Bancontact is often billed per transaction rather than as a percentage. Where a vendor publishes only a percentage, that is what we used. Ask for the Bancontact rate in writing before you sign, including from us.

What this adds up to

Three claims, each one you can check against the sources at the bottom of this page.

The cheapest till-connected terminal we know of in Belgium

€ 35 a month against € 42.85 for the same A35 rented directly, and € 265.70 less over a first year. Find one that talks to your register for less and we will add it to this table.

Nothing to pay before you start

No setup fee and no purchase, on six months instead of the twelve CCV asks for. Renting the same terminal directly costs € 171.50 before it prints its first ticket.

Cheapest overall once you take real money

A percentage looks harmless until you multiply it. At € 10,000 a month it costs € 150 to € 190 where a per-transaction scale costs € 46.40, and the gap grows as your salon does better.

Where the others are the better choice

Three cases where we are honestly not the answer, and you should know them now rather than after signing.

You take very few card payments

Below roughly 60 card payments a month, a reader you buy once and pay a percentage on wins. A SumUp Solo or a myPOS Go 2 at € 39 costs nothing per month.

You only want a terminal

Our € 35 assumes the register is ours, because that is what makes the A35 worth having. If you just need a machine to take cards, a standalone CCV Compact A77 rents at € 29.35, less than we charge.

You want a payment account too

myPOS and Viva Wallet bundle a business account with the terminal, sometimes settling the same day. We do not do banking: your card money keeps arriving on the account you already have.

How we built this table

Every figure above is a price the vendor publishes itself, or that a Belgian comparison site publishes with the vendor named. Nothing comes from a confidential quote. Prices exclude VAT and they move: last checked in August 2026.

Ask each provider for the same four numbers in writing: monthly rental, one-off cost to start, length of the commitment, and the exact Bancontact rate per transaction. Those four decide almost everything.

Questions we get

No. The € 35 covers the terminal, its link to the till, its replacement and the support. Card fees are billed by CCV on its own scale, and not one cent comes back to us.

Because it does nothing but take a payment. It does not know what is on the ticket, so somebody keys the amount in twice. The A35 we install takes it from the till. Renting one straight from CCV costs € 42.85 a month plus € 171.50 to start.

You send it back: the terminal is rented, never sold, so there is nothing to resell. Stop inside the six months and the ones left are invoiced once. Nothing is due if we end it.
